Kobi has been making with her hands since she first put her hands in clay at an evening class when she was 14. 

She studied fine art sculpture at Nottingham Trent University. Sailed to NZ. Then spent 12years in the NZ film&TV industry as sculptor, prop-maker, costume-props and set dresser.

She has created for organisations and private homes, collaborated on creative projects internationally, taught concrete sculpture workshops, been awarded government funding for community projects and has a passion for living and creating beautiful and sustainable living environments

 

In recent years she  resides in Belgium and after trying her hand at encaustic painting for a few years Kobi has settled back into her own ceramic practice and figure sculpture
